RME List
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 27, 2026
RME List helps people track live events, evaluate ticket value, and optionally share selected activity with friends. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it is shared, and what choices users have.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
When you sign in, we may receive:
- your email address
- your display name
- your profile photo
- your sign-in provider
We may also collect or store:
- your first and last name
- your username
- your profile photo
- your app settings and consent preferences
Content you create in the app
We collect the information you choose to add to RME List, including:
- tracked events, performers, venues, and songs
- event ratings and RME-related inputs
- event notes
- ticket prices
- companion information
- unlinked companion names
- friend and companion activity records needed to power social features
- pre-show spots: if you choose to answer where you went before a show, we store only the Google place identifier of the spot you pick (never the place name or address). Spot counts are aggregated anonymously on venue pages.
Ticket photos you choose to scan
If you use "Scan a ticket" when logging a past show, the photo you take or select is sent to our servers and on to Anthropic, our AI provider, to read the show details from it (performers or teams, venue, venue street address, city and state, date, start time, and price) so we can pre-fill the form for you. This happens only when you tap to scan. If a venue street address is read from the ticket, it may be used once to help match the venue against OpenStreetMap and is never stored.
The photo is used once for that extraction and is never stored by RME List, never saved to your account, and never used to train any model. We keep only the extracted details you review and choose to save with your show. You can always skip the scan and enter show details by hand.
Information from third parties
- SeatGeek event and venue data for live event discovery and ticket fulfillment
- Google Maps Platform (Places API) place suggestions and place names, used when you search for a pre-show spot and to display spot names. Your spot search text is sent to Google to return suggestions; we do not store Google's place names or addresses.
- Apple Music library and recently played data, if you grant access, to suggest performers and improve music-related features. This access is read-once: we do not store your library, playlists, or listening history. When you choose to track a song, we store only that song's title, artist name, album name, and a link to its Apple-hosted artwork.
Usage and diagnostics
- screen views

4. Analytics and Diagnostics

These providers may process information as needed to provide their services.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data while an account is active.
Ticket photos you scan are not retained: they are processed once to extract show details and are not stored by us.
If an account is inactive for an extended period, we may delete it according to our retention rules.
If you delete your account, we aim to remove your account data and related records promptly, including your user profile, user-owned subcollections, username claim, and related social references, subject to technical and legal requirements.

Within the app, users can edit profile information, export data where available, and delete their account from Settings.
